Robinson Contract Services runs a mixed fleet of tipping vehicles. All of which are equipped to travel both on and off road to enable us to deliver from our customers sites, directly to the farmers’ fields, safely and with ease.                

All the rigid tipping vehicles are 32.000kg GVW, eight wheelers. Built with a 34 cubic metre aluminium body and Harsh under floor tipping gear, this enables a near 20.000kg payload. All vehicles have an electric auto- sheeting system fitted and auto locking rear doors as standard.

Our vehicles have a large specification of equipment to aid the drivers in their work. High roof sleeper cabs, auto gearboxes and air-conditioning for driver comfort; as well as reversing cameras and on board weighing systems for the safety of the driver.  In addition all vehicles are fitted the sophisticated vehicle tracking devices, which enable us to see where any vehicle is at a precise time or details of a particular route the vehicle has taken on a previous journey. These devices also monitor the driver’s operating performance and fuel management.

All of our drivers carry a communications device, which gives up to the minute confirmation of weights for individual jobs direct to our bespoke in-house delivery system back at Brandesburton. This also has a detailed mapping system to help the drivers navigate to an exact destination and enables hands free contact with the office by its built in telephone.

We have a 44.000kg GVW Volvo unit which pulls a low loader trailer, this vehicle moves digging equipment and other machinery to enable a smooth delivery process is achieved when tipping directly into the fields.

A rigid DAF 6x4 crane vehicle is also active in the delivery process, laying temporary roadway panels from the entrance of the field to the stockpiling area.
